The Class 12 Science stream examination holds immense importance in shaping students’ futures, opening doors to higher education and promising career paths. After months of dedication, hard work, and perseverance, students now see the fruits of their efforts. We are thrilled to announce the results of the Gujarat Class 12 Science exams, held from 27th February 2025 to 10th March 2025.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the officers and staff of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar, who played a crucial role in managing the examination process — a task that demands confidentiality, precision, and coordination at every step.

In the Main Exam 2025 for the Science stream, a total of 1,11,223 students were registered across 152 examination centers, with 1,10,395 students present on exam days. Among them, 1,00,725 were regular candidates, of which 1,00,575 appeared. Out of these, an impressive 83,987 students qualified for certification, marking a state pass percentage of 83.51%.

This year, hall tickets for both theory and practical exams were issued online, and practical marks were submitted through an online portal, reflecting the Board’s continuous efforts to make the system smoother and more efficient.

Gender and Groupwise Number of Students

A noteworthy highlight was the implementation of the Paper Box Authentication and Tracking Application, ensuring the secure delivery of question papers from zonal offices to exam centres.

Remarkably, Gujarat has set a national benchmark by becoming the first state to conduct board exams under 100% CCTV surveillance, ensuring fairness and transparency. Even the zonal offices were monitored with CCTV, reinforcing the credibility of the entire process.
