The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has recently announced the much-awaited results for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination of 2024. The results were officially declared on May 11, 2024, marking a significant moment for students across the state. As expected, these results have generated considerable interest and anticipation among students, parents, and educators alike.
The SSC (Secondary School Certificate) examinations were conducted across 981 centers in 84 zones in the state. These exams covered 3,184 examination venues and were conducted using 31,829 blocks for various purposes.
A total of 706,370 students registered as regular examinees for this exam. Out of these, 699,598 actually took the exam, and 577,556 of them passed, making the pass rate for regular examinees 82.56%. Additionally, there were 165,984 students registered as repeat examinees. Among them, 160,451 appeared for the exam, and 78,715 of them passed, resulting in a pass rate of 49.06 percent for repeat examinees.
Apart from these groups, there were 17,378 candidates registered as GSOS candidates. Out of them, 16,261 candidates appeared for the exam, and 4,981 of them qualified for the certificate. This group had a pass rate of 30.63%.
The Dalod center in Ahmedabad (Rural) district and the Talgajarda center in Bhavnagar district achieved a perfect 100% pass rate. On the other hand, the Tada Kendra in Gir Somnath District had the lowest pass rate at 41.13 %.
